The Miss Universe pageant has come and gone but you know what? We still have something to celebrate. Miss Lisa Darmanie now is the first Trinbagonian to become not only a member of but also qualified by way of Level 1 Standard Certification from the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association (ECMMA), USA.
This certification comes after Ms. Lisa has proven to the ECMMA that she has been actively practising Early Childhood Music Education for some time now as well as having received the required total hours of training from recognized institutions/organizations offering Early Childhood Music Courses.
Three cheers for Ms. Lisa once again for putting Trinidad and Tobago on the map as she did by becoming the first licensed and certified Musikgarten Instructor not only in Trinidad and Tobago but in the entire Caribbean region!
Today she delivered a presentation as a guest speaker to the Music Ed. students at the Department of Creative and Festival Arts, University of the West Indies (UWI) where she encouraged the soon to be graduates to consider a career in Early Childhood Music.
We support her and look forward to her impartation as she seeks to continuously improve and expand her knowledge while she embarks on yet another journey, in pursuit of her Masters in International Education.
