Our Policies

updated 1 Feb 2021
Registration & Bookings: When you register for a class, you are committing to the full duration/Semester/Year according to the age-group/class; there is no pay-as-you-go. This is to preserve the educational value of the program for your family’s benefit. Registration is by Online Checkout. The booking is only confirmed upon payment of the non-refundable Registration fee along with required materials and tuition. Early Registration Fee: $50 per family. A Late Registration fee of $100 is applied once the advertised Early Registration period has passed.
Payments: E-Invoices are generated when you checkout online and are updated with payment information once verified. Accepted Methods: Online Bank Transfer, Paypal, LINX Debit Card, Credit Card (CC subject to 5% S/C Fee).
Full Payment is due by the first class unless you have arranged a payment schedule.
Part-Payments are facilitated as per our Payment schedule and/or signing a payment agreement.
Late fees: We encourage families to pay on time and communicate any challenges with us to avoid the add-on late fee of $40 per 7 days late.
Materials: Specific materials required for each class. Unstocked materials may take up to 15 days to arrive.
Parent Orientation/Continuing Education: All parents are required to attend a Parent Orientation or Continuing Ed session once per Semester...usually one hour long and offered at the beginning of later on into the Semester. These are adult only (pre-crawling infants, okay). Two options by date and time will be available.
Classes: Our two primary Semesters run September to January and February to June. We also offer Vacation classes for Easter and in July-August. Each Semester includes required Orientation / Feedback sessions and Semester Fiesta Celebration. Classes are usually held once a week with breaks for school and holiday periods.
Alabanza Music reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In cases of inclement weather or other emergency situations, please look for WhatsApp / text or email from your teacher.
Attendance: Be on time.  Being present during the "greeting" affirms your child as a person; you won't want to miss that opportunity.
Sickness & Absence: If you know that you'll be missing a class, we ask that you notify us as some activities we plan require full class participation.
Please note that fees for missed classes will not be refunded; however, you may request to attend one make-up class for the Semester (a same-age class on another day or location) if available, 48 hours beforehand and we will confirm if we could accommodate you.
If your child is ill, please keep your child at home for your child's own safety and the safety of others.
