Alabanza Music reserves the right to update and modify these policies at any time without prior notice. Any new features, enhancements, or updates to the website, including new tools or resources, will also be subject to these policies. Alabanza Music Membership & Introductory Class Policies
Alabanza Music Class Policies: Quick Guide
Please note: This is a quick reference guide. Our comprehensive policies, which you agree to upon enrollment, are available via the link at the top of this page.
1. Membership Tiers & Commitment
Commitment: All core memberships (Standard, Virtual, Premium) require a 5-month (Standard/Virtual) or 12-month (Premium) commitment. We do not offer 'pay-as-you-go'.
2. Introductory Classes
Ramajay (In-Person): $395 ($200 Tuition for two sessions, $195 non-refundable Admin Fee of $195.) Pre-Class Parent Education required.
Olé (Online): Free class preview, $195 non-refundable Admin Fee. Pre-Class Parent Education required.
3. Membership Fees & Payment
- Payment Due: Full payment is due immediately upon order completion. Unpaid orders may be cancelled.
- Payment Methods: Credit/Debit Card (via WiPay link) and Online Bank Transfer are accepted. No cash payments for safety and accountability. WiPay Service Charge: All card payments incur a 3.5%+ service fee.
- International USD Payments: The website will convert TTD to USD at its prevailing rate. Other currencies are converted by your bank.
- Late Fees: $50 late fee after 7 days.
- Non-Payment: Continued non-payment leads to temporary suspension, and eventually membership termination with the full committed balance remaining due.
4. Membership Benefits Overview
Each tier offers specific benefits including class sessions (up to 18 per semester/40 per year for Premium), E-learning portal access, and varying flexibility/inclusions. Refer to the full policy for detailed comparisons.
5. Materials & Instruments
- Standard & Virtual Members: Required class materials must be purchased separately.
- Premium Members: Core Musikgarten® materials are included.
Instruments: Required instruments are outlined by class level; rental options available.
6. Refunds & Credits
- Introductory Packages: Non-refundable.
- Membership Withdrawal: Partial refund (80% tuition) only if withdrawing 14+ days before semester start. No refunds once the semester begins; full committed balance remains due.
- Online Payment Cancellation: Request a refund for online payments by calling 1-868-709-9588 within 24 hours (excluding weekends/holidays).
Missed Classes: No refunds, credits or reduction in fees for missed classes; use Flexible Attendance options (per membership tier).
7. Classes & Scheduling
Semesters: Two 5-month semesters (Sep-Jan, Feb-Jun), typically one class per week. Classes also offered during the July-August period.
Virtual Classes: Conducted entirely online for Virtual Members.
8. Virtual Class Guidelines
Ensure stable internet, computer/tablet with webcam/mic, and a quiet space.
Parental presence is required for young children during online sessions.
No recording or sharing of virtual classes without consent.
9. Communications
Updates via WhatsApp groups and direct messages. Email for newsletters and offers.
10. Attendance
Parent Orientation is required for all new members.
Punctuality is encouraged. Notify us if missing a class.
11. Preparation & Behaviour
Come prepared; display respectful behaviour and dress. No phones unless directed. No unauthorized photos/videos.
12. Professionalism & Inclusivity
Professional teacher-student relationships. No discrimination. Confidentiality maintained.
13. Health & Safety
In-Person Hygiene: Wash hands, remove shoes/socks, no strong perfumes, no toys/food in class (water/baby bottles okay).
Sickness Policy: Keep ill children home.
14. Indemnity & Liability
Alabanza Music is not responsible for loss or injury incurred during programmes. By registering, you release Alabanza Music from liability and agree to indemnify us from related claims.
15. Photography / Recording Consent
Enrollment grants consent for Alabanza Music to use photos/videos/audio from classes/events for promotional purposes. Consent may be individual or group. Images will not be identified with full names without consent.
