For Parents Who Know “Just Another Activity” Isn’t Enough
Join families choosing a research-informed approach to building focus, language, and confidence through music, movement, and multilingual learning.
Why Choose Us?
Most programmes introduce children to music and language through rigid and often restrictive activities.
At Alabanza Music, we don’t do "run-of-the mill" music. We create high-value experiences that support measurable growth—through the latest research and developmentally appropriate practices.
Our approach is built on how children’s brains are naturally wired for learning.
Led by Trinidad & Tobago’s only ECMMA board-certified Early Childhood Music & Movement Specialist and multilingual advocate, this is where intention replaces guesswork.
We are also proud to be the exclusive Caribbean providers of Musikgarten®, an internationally recognised leader in early childhood music education.
Strategic parents choose this pathway early, because places are intentionally limited to maintain quality, consistency, and individual attention.

Newborn – 18 months
Duration: 30 Interactive Minutes (Structured for infant attention spans)
Online Experience:
Live Virtual + On-Demand Access
In-Person Location: Tacarigua
Overview
Designed for parents and their babies to experience together, these weekly classes introduce you to a more intentional way of using music, movement, and interaction to support your baby’s early development.
While these 30 minutes look like simple play, every bounce and lullaby is carefully structured to support how your baby’s brain is developing in real-time.
Each session includes guided musical play such as gentle bouncing, rocking, vocal exploration, peek-a-boo, and rhythmic activities. While these may look simple on the surface, they are carefully structured to support how your baby’s brain is developing in real time.
Through consistent participation, babies begin to develop:
• Early listening skills and attention
• A natural sense of rhythm and musical awareness
• Foundations for language and communication
• Social connection and emotional security
• Parents learn how to engage musically with their baby in a way that supports development beyond the class.
To extend the experience at home, families receive a high-quality music recording (performed by children’s voices and live instruments), along with a parent guide and simple materials such as rhythm sticks, a rattle, and a scarf. These tools make it easy to continue the interaction throughout the week, reinforcing what was introduced in class.
Many parents begin to notice increased responsiveness, stronger engagement, and more intentional interaction over time.
Each class builds on the last, creating a structured progression that supports your baby’s development through consistency.

St. Augustine: Level 1

San Fernando: Level 4 (pre-qualification required)
Overview
At this stage, children transition from foundational musicianship into instrumental performance, bringing together everything they have learned through singing, movement, listening, and ensemble work.
Because children already know and love the music, they come to the keyboard ready to play. This allows for early success and builds confidence quickly within a supportive small-group environment.
The programme is structured across three years, divided into six 15-week semesters, providing a clear and progressive pathway in piano learning.
Through consistent participation, children develop:
• The ability to play by ear and read music with understanding
• Fluency and coordination at the keyboard
• Strong listening, memory, and pattern recognition skills
• Confidence and enjoyment in making music independently and with others
• Multilingual repertoire and diverse musical styles continue to support flexible thinking, listening, and expression.
How Learning Happens
Children learn through a balanced approach that integrates:
• Familiar repertoire they already sing and understand
• Guided reading and recognition of musical patterns
• Ensemble playing and group interaction
Creative exploration, including improvisation and composition
• This approach ensures that music reading is not mechanical, but deeply connected to sound, movement, and meaning.
Materials & Home Support
To support consistent progress at home, families receive:
• Curated listening and practice tracks with guided weekly support
• Notation and reading activities
Repertoire and sight-reading pieces
• Opportunities for composition and creative exploration
• These materials are designed to keep children engaged, motivated, and progressing between lessons.
Outcome
Children develop into confident, expressive young musicians who can both play by ear and read with fluency. They experience a strong sense of achievement and enjoyment, building a lasting relationship with music that extends beyond the classroom.
