Neuroscience-backed, multilingual music and movement programmes that foster holistic development — from infancy through childhood and beyond.
Established in 2003, Alabanza Music was founded on a clear vision: a proven, neuroscience-backed approach to music and language education. For over two decades, we've moved beyond "just fun" to deliver multilingual music and movement that supports your child's complete growth — from infancy through adulthood.
We don't just teach. We ignite potential and build foundations for life.
At our core, we're guided by the principle of sound-before-sight. We leverage the inherent power of sound to naturally engage your child's innate musicality — a scientifically-backed method that unlocks tremendous personal development when music, movement, and language are engaged together.
We believe every child is innately musical, and our programmes are designed to awaken that gift.
We're immensely proud to be the only certified and qualified provider of the internationally acclaimed Musikgarten® programme in the entire Caribbean. This research-backed curriculum profoundly impacts language, cognitive, and socio-emotional skills through its proven sound-before-sight approach — tailored by Alabanza Music to be even more culturally and linguistically relevant for our region.
We proudly cater to all ages and stages of development, with classes meticulously designed for every step of the way.
Every Alabanza educator is individually certified — or in comprehensive training — in early childhood music education. We never stop learning and evolving.
Lisa built Alabanza Music to solve a problem in early education: fragmented music programmes that lack true integration of brain science, cultural immersion, and foundational development from the earliest stages.
As the first certified Specialist in Early Childhood Music and Movement in Trinidad & Tobago, she brings academic rigour (Honours Degrees in Musical Arts and Spanish from U.W.I.), international accreditation, and over two decades of hands-on experience across all age groups. She is a founding member and the only Caribbean voice on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association (E.C.M.M.A.) USA, and is Dalcroze trained through the Lucy Moses School.
A formally trained keyboardist and accomplished musician, Lisa is renowned for choral arranging, directing and conducting — and has judged national competitions in Parang, Calypso, and Steelpan. Drawing from her own bilingual Trini-Vene household, she crafts culturally immersive experiences that help children grow into confident, resilient global citizens.
